Dell XPS 17 3D Review,Spec,Price Latest laptop 2011Dell Latest XPS 17 3D laptop 2011.The Dell XPS 17 3D is a sharp-looking desktop replacement that can handle 3D content, as well as output 3D movies and games to a compatible 3DTV. Highly configurable, the more-expensive options are powerful indeed.
Dell’s XPS 17 3D is for those who want a powerful media and gaming17-inch laptop, but in a more aesthetically upscale package than offered by Dell’s Alienware brand. The stereoscopic 3D is gimmicky, but a certain breed of PC gamer will love it.
Dell XPS Spec:
Dell’s sometimes-confusing array of in-house consumer brands has been thankfully whittled down to three, and there’s a clear enough delineation between them to make choosing a Dell laptop (or at least a starting point) a simple equation. The mainstream Inspiron brand hits the lowest end of the price spectrum, with plastic bodies and a surprisingly wide range of component options; the premium-priced Alienware brand is for Mountain-Dew-chugging gamers, with aesthetic palates that lag behind their budgets. In the middle is the XPS line, which takes some of the same higher-end components available from the other two lines, adds new and different options, and wraps the entire system up in an appealing metal-clad shell.
Dell Latest XPS 17 3D laptop 2011.The upscale-looking XPS 17 3D is a relatively recent variation on the brand, taking the current 2011 17-inch XPS, with its second-gen Intel Core i-series processors, and adding stereoscopic 3D support via Nvidia’s 3D Vision platform (which is really the standard for PC-based 3D). You can also send the signal to a 3DTV via HDMI and watch video or play PC games in 3D–a potential draw for fans of PC-only games such as StarCraft II.

Latest mobile technology in the world

The cell phone is one of the most popular tech gadgets of our time. As the cell phones continue to get more and more features, keeping up with the most recent technologies, they must also stay in fashion. The cell phone makers are providing more phones these days; that will match an outfit or wardrobe. The cell phone has officially become a fashion accessory in 2010. Cell phone users who consider their self “fashion conscious” will be happy to know, the fashions in cell phones stretch far and wide for any fashion craving.
Until today, I never knew the fashion world of cell phones. I was surprised to see all the wonderful colors and designs that exist on the marketplace today. If you like to match from head to toe and now from ear to cell phone, you should have no problems finding the cell phone that fits your taste. A special color of cell phone to match a woman’s dress or one that sparkles like her purse will no doubt make her match like no woman in the 1990′s was matching. Not sure if men are into their fashion desires as much as the ladies are, but if they’re; one that matches their suit, tie, or even their car is for sale.
Do you own a fashionable cell phone? I believe some women will need 7 or more cell phones to match all of their outfits for the week. I just wonder if the shoe companies, which has long been a big part of women’s fashion, will try to produce shoes and phones together in this world of high tech fashion

This is the brainchild of significantly more grounded and forward thinking people. Building has actually begun, and the concept is a lot less ridiculous than a floating nation. There are 10 main buildings, referred to as “tall ships” that are actually apartment buildings, and an eleventh called the “lighthouse” that is a hotel. The whole thing is located near the sea, with great views, and follows a nautical theme. The apartment buildings are named after major port cities (Dubai, Monte Carlo and Miami, for example) and are built facing the direction of the city they are named after.
It’s nice to see that someone in the world not only has a crazy idea, but that it is a smart idea and is actually going through with it. Of course, with my luck, someone will screw up, they’ll pull the plug and I will look like an idiot.

These are a pretty novel idea; rather than using up ground-space to build parks, build huge towers and build them on top of those. They were designed with places like Tokyo in mind, where they don’t have the land to rip down buildings for a park or a greenbelt. The towers would feature grass, fountains, benches… everything you could want in a park, except for that non-terror inducing “being at ground level” thing that usual parks have. To be honest, I don’t think I will be playing catch 10 stories off the ground, I would most likely lay spread eagle in the grass, praying a strong gust of wind doesn’t dash my body on the streets below. Also keep in mind that these were built with Tokyo in mind, a giant city in a country notorious for earthquakes.
On the other hand, the towers are also meant to provide shade and collect rainwater, so they aren’t all terror-games and terrified tourists. Time will tell if this or any of the other bear fruit, but the world will be a cooler place if they do.

Future Internet: Duncan Campbell examines the technology that will one day bring about the “thinking Web”.

I liked the picture that is featured at the top of this article by Duncan Cambell on the future of the Internet so I republished it at the top of this post. It shows an artists conception of what our computer interface will look like in the year 2018.
Freud said a century ago that humans have an unconscious instinctual desire to return to  womb. As a psychologist trained a long time ago in old school psychology, I would have to say that the woman in the picture looks like she has done exactly that.  Her fetal position is also similar to that imagined for the "enslaved" humans in the movie, the Matrix immersed in their virtual reality pods. Except that the woman looks alert and working rather than vegetative.
She looks extremely comfortable. The only thing that looks like it might not be needed is her fingers at the keyboard. Hopefully by 2018 that speech recognition or even brainwave recognition  will have advanced far enough to the need for repeated pressing of fingers.
Here is a snip from the post that I thought was particularly interesting:

Tribons are designed as digital mentors, that support kid’s personal interests and show pathways to boost knowledge and development of skills. Moreover, it offers experiences and information, and make possible the understanding and participation in environments. By using Tribons, an urban child would be introduced to the natural and biological world, and similarly, a rural child can enhance their knowledge about the urban landscape. The accessories developed to comprise an earpiece that is controlled by a spontaneous 3D interface that projects various educational materials and features a safety system that allows parents track their children. Not only that, this gadget includes an additional medical module that offers surveillance of the wearer’s health parameters that will take care in case of chronic sickness and the probability of injuries.
